The UNIMORE drug discovery and investigations platform was born from the joint interests of different Researchers at UNIMORE, in the LIFE SCIENCE department.

5 laboratories are included:

1. Medicinal Chemistry lab, head by Maria Paola Costi. In this lab, compounds are designed and synthesized using different approaches such as structure-based drug design, ligand based, bioconjugates with targeting agents directed to specific cellular membrane proteins.
